Today it includes many important cities: Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Las Flores, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Irvine, Newport Beach, Tustin, Orange, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Villa Park, Brea, La Habra, Yorba Linda, Placentia, Fullerton, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Huntington Beach, Stanton, Cypress, Bueno Park, La Palma, Los Alamitos, and Seal Beach, and many unincorporated areas. Sunset Beach, Midway City, and Rossmoor, along with several other small communities also lie inside of this county of 948 square miles.
